As the year comes to a close, we get to let go of the things that no longer serve us. We create space for the ‘coming’, which Emerson called “the sacred.” Behold, we get to make all things new.

Erika Luckett sang, “If we’re not in awe, we’re not paying attention.” Could we be fascinated with life? Could we look and learn and practice deep listening? Curiosity becomes sacred as we unveil the beauty that is all around and within.

Rumi tells us that “We need each other to walk each other home.” Let us explore the intimacy of belonging to all our relations.

On this birthday Sunday we will explore the grace in aging. Can we choose to be youthful and ever renewed as we get older. Now is the time to laugh at our wrinkles and begin again.

When the view of “other” is completely different, we realize that there really aren't “others”. Then we relate more from the heart, from that big space of vastness and connection. Acceptance, gratitude and intimacy fill the moments of our life.

Tending to the life around us can invoke an entrainment of hearts. A common rhythm is invoked when we enter relationships with a vibrational resonance. Returning from CIRCLE OF LOVE will provide the context for this dance of intimacy.

The path of the heart is to learn to listen, to allow and to really take in the many, many communications from all directions that are guiding our attention, helping show us the way to return home. Gloriji Agrelius has followed such an authentic path and will weave her open hearted truth this Sunday.

Albert Schweitzer said, “Humankind is waiting and longing for those who can accomplish the task of untying what is knotted and bringing these heartfelt streams of idealism and kindness to the world.” The goal is not progress but embodiment, not advancing knowledge but increasing compassion.

John McCain encouraged people to serve a vision that is larger than ourselves. Could the suffering we observe serve to awaken compassion in the hearts of humanity? Could we hitch our wagon to a star of hope and possibility for a world that works for everyone?

Truth is an eternal conversation about things that matter. If we want to live “in the truth”, we must learn to live in the conversation rather than in its conclusions of the moment. Each of us is a center of light illuminating the emerging conversation with clarity and insight.
